Your magazine correctly follows codes and conventions of a real magazine. Your masthead is effective as it positioned behind your cover star. I like how your cover star contrasts with your colour scheme making her stand out from the typography and background. You have also included small details like the price,issue number and official website. It looks very professional and realistic. I have no major criticism but the top left cover line could be moved down a bit so it is in line with the right side.
it looks like a Hip Hop music magazine from a glance. you have followed many conventions like the date of issue, price sky line ect. however there is a lot of cover lines so it can be distracting from the main one.
good use of front cover conventions. EG you have used: £ colour scheme banner type masthead. (masthead that runs across the top of the page). your cover lines are clear. there is a slight confusion to which is your main cover line. but thats only due to font side. over all review very well designed. looks professional. =)
