Starting with my front cover, I just added to and finalized the template that I will be basing my magazine on. However when doing the actual front cover I will need to add line rulers on the sides to ensure that parts of the pictures and text do not bleed outside the lines :
I then moved onto my DPS. With my case studies, when analysing them, I noticed that all 3 had introductory pages before their double page spreads - example (both from Brick) :
Therefore I wanted to do this as to fit the codes and conventions of my case studies to get an accurate magazine of my genre, here is my first template of the introductory pages. When I do it for real, the font and colouring of the 1st page will of course be more designed but this is just the start of my rough template:
